| Well I told myself if I broke memorial day it was getting rebuilt. I ended up breaking my steering box so the build begins. I picked up a set of 83 toyota axles, beadlocks, and my 36x13.50x15 bias iroks are showing up friday. I already sold my complete drivetrain, leaf springs, rims and tires in one day so I unloaded all of the stuff I wont use. The goal is to stretch it to somewhere between 95 and 98in and get it down lower. Im going to remove the front fenders and tie in tubing to a small stinger to protect the winch. I think I might link the front and run 83 toyota rear truck leafs in the rear. Ill get pics up when I figure out how. Im sure the build will go slower than I plan it to go. But Ill keep it updated when I do something. |

| Im going to get some pics up when I have something to show for. But anyway. I should have my rear axle and all the suspension done in a few weeks. Ive done a whole lot of measuring and think Im goin to be at 100in wb and 17in belly height. All of the rear suspension parts should be at my place in about a week. So Ill keep you guys posted. |

If there isnt a pic Im sorry. Im just trying to figure out how to post pics. If there is a pic, its one of my tires and beadlocks. I repainted and put the beadlocks together. Joe helped me get them mounted up with his tire machine at his job |

| I had a little progress this weekend. I made the rear section of frame to stretch the back, removed all of the useless brackets on the back of the frame, and i took the 3main leafs for a rear toyota with a military wrap and added 2 leafs from a yj to make them a 5 pack. |

Joe and I rebuilt the frame extension last weekend with a tow point and better gussets. Joe did some really nice welding that day. Thanks once again Joe! This afternoon I actually got the rear frame extended. Ill be hanging the leafs and all of the new mounts after labor day. Anyway here are some pictures.

Thanks guys and I want to be there so bad. Even if I just get out for one day but Joes lady is going with him I think. I might just cruise in his samurai, find an open seat somewhere else, or I have a friend with one tons and 42s on a yj who wants to run some of the harder stuff on sunday so if you guys are there we could meet up on sunday. But anyway i dont know whats going on I just cant wait til the samurai is done. |
