I have $800 saved up, need $500 more... (Buy my Exploder)

42" SX's versus 40" LTB's versus 39.5 Boggers??? They're all about the same price. I was thinking 40" LTB's.

i wanted to get 40 LTB's last year but they were on national backorder.
If all r new or equal wear i would go 42 sx's if they clear everything
Never had boggers so cant comment much

I want the 42s, but worried that 40" will be the happy point of my stock 60 shafts. My 60 is a 2003, so there is NO neckdown. I think the LTBs are $309 and the SXIIs are $331... I'm still building so they'll clear Twisted Evil Think 2" will make a huge reliability impact? I am tired of breaking shit.

if ur running them on 17's then the diff is 41.6-40= 1.6 so ur talking about lil over 3/4 inch .... shaft/out

1/16th more tread depth with 42
1/2 inch less wall bulge with 42
1/2+ tread width with 42

are ur outers 30 or 35?

30spline. I was gonna use D50 outers for their cheap and easy to find in junkyards. Kinda use them as a "fuse". I dont want to break joints, I'm running a BJ 60 front.

SX2s are pretty badass. I'd say 42s would be pushing it on 30spl outers...
I'd get the 39.5" Iroks cause they're light and narrow.

40" LTBs are super heavy.. I don't really like the size,
too wide too much rubber.

What's the next size down in the SX2s?
Do they make a 39.5?

Boggers suck except, you'll be sliding sideways nonstop.

If you really have your heart set on 42s, I would
look for used ones and save some money so you can
afford to buy some 35 spline outers.

What rig are you building? Your XJ?

I already bought the Iroks. I'm gonna run them for a year and look into LTBs next year. I already have plans for 35spline outers. I haven't even bought 30 spline outers yet. I need spindles/stubs/hubs/rotors still.
